We finish your floors to the appearance of your taste, from natural to stain, to pickling, with a variety of finishing textures from satin to high gloss, executed in oil base or waterborne polyurethane.
To restore a floor surface which still has some finish on it, and has no dirt embedded in the wood, we recommend screening and finishing, at a reduced cost. Screening does not replace scraping as a means to restore the surface.

Window Cleaning / Powerwashing
In our coastal area, window glass suffers a great deal from salt spray, which shows by a mottly surface of the glass. This condition develops as a consequence of neglect and is very hard,if not impossible, to reverse.
Timely cleaning of the exterior of windows is essential. We recommend two cleanings per year. If you want to clean only once per year, skip the fall cleaning. Salt deposits must beremoved before the summer sun bakes it into the glass.

The same is true for siding: powerwashing with recommended detergents and mildew inhibitors can extend the beauty of the paint job by many years.

How to remove stains, a quick guide.
Spills and spots are a common occurrance.
NO REASON TO PANIC, (unless you have already done so.)
Rule 1. Do not add liquids to the stain.
Liquid spills:
Step 1: Dab affected area with absorbent material (cotton towel, several layers of paper towel) to extract liquid. Repeat until transfer stops.
Step 2: Water based spills (drinks, etc) Moisten clean terry towel with water (non-dripping), dab moisture onto stain area, beginning with the outer edge. Then dab the just moistened area with a dry towel. Continue until no more stain transfer occurs, then proceed to next portion of stain, treating no more than 2"x2" area at a time. continue until all stained are is treated. If stain contained solids, professional attention may be necessary.

For greasy stains use solvent instead of water and treat as above. Caution: tar stains can spread rapidly when dissolved; use q-tip to apply solvent. Do not breathe vapors of solvent.
